Furniture Stories

Well I'm happy to report that my Beach Bum chair and my little Teal Table have new homes. In return, I have $80 or I had it until I paid a bill with it! Ha haha. That's life, eh? So my next project is a secret right now but I will be showing a few pictures before the final reveal. I call it Pier 52 (as in Area 51) Top secret so shsshhhhshsshh. But it's been fun...so far!
Cute little reclaimed handles
Maybe I'll have the final pictures up by the end of the day. What a story that will be! Later that day... Okay. I changed my mind about the black knobs. They would have to be cut down in order to fit so they are saved for another project. So... having said that, *ddrum roll please* HERE IT IS! My latest greatest redo.
Used Dove gray & white paint, moderately distressed. Walnut stain for top.
I like to use numbers for some reason. So it's got a local zip code for the Coos Bay area.+
Cape Arago is a wonderful beachy foresty point quite popular here in Coastal Oregon. I thought it would give this piece a local feel.
PS. Pier 52 is just cuz I liked the way it looked/sounded :)
In it's former life it was a record player/entertainment center.
But it could be used as a kitchen piece to hold veggies as it has plenty of ventilation in the back.
Or it would make a nice entry piece with storage for things like whatever you want to store in an entry way!
I like her and she was fun to do. The dimensions on this are 42 x 18 x 28. So what do you think? UPDATE 8/24/12 *SOLD*
